Big Bang leader G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji Yong) will make his solo debut.

Next year, G-Dragon will go to the United States for music work and plans to return to Korea with his first solo album. In a Mydaily interview, he said, “The songs are ready to be made,” meaning they still must be materialized.

After activities for Big Bang’s second album are finished, G-Dragon will go to the United States. He said the reason is because “All the people I want to work with for music are in the United States. (This time) I’m traveling with the Big Bang members to the U.S.,” he said happily.

His solo album is most likely to be a mini album. G-Dragon said, “It will have 6-7 songs, but the concept and genre hasn’t been decided on yet.”

Other Big Bang members that have gone solo are Tae Yang with “Look Only at Me” and Dae Sung with “Look at Me, GwiSun.”
