My son has got an Xbox 360 for Christmas, but it didn't come with a hard drive. He had an original Xbox before this, but when he got Xbox 360, he assumed you could play Xbox games on it too. So he gave his Xbox away and still has loads of Xbox games. So he tried to play a regular Xbox game and it said he needed a hard drive. He got a hard drive and now it's telling him that it doesn't support it and updates may be available. Has this happened to anyone already?

Did you get a hard drive that Xbox 360 supports? Did you apply all updates there is?

I think only some Xbox games work for the 360, so you should check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xb ... h_Xbox_360 if they work.
