Green Day had many popular rock songs in the past. They seem to be still active after so many years unlike other Rock bands like Blink 82 which seems less active these days, or I don't hear much news about them.

Green Day music is use in anime animated music videos, and sound tracks for movies and TV shows, so you may of listened to their songs without realizing it. Green Day music was popular on radio, and Music TV shows in the past.

But, if you mostly listen to classic rock like Bon Jovi, you may have not heard of the singers.
