Greetings fellows.


There WILL be some downtime between 5th April 2009 until the 31st April 2009 while server is upgraded.

Sorry i cannot say when this will be there are to mnay variables involved.

Data Loss is expected to be minimal

forum along with many other MXProject features will be disabled during the migration.


Expected length of downtime 3 days.

Shoutcast IP will also change.

Thanks For the update.

I should send up a mass E-mail to members since a lot of them don't seem to come here much.

Does this mean that I should also change the shoutcast connection settings in winamp when It changes?

yes, i would also advise a file to be added to the playlist to notify of the change,

i will try to give maximum amount of notification, but even this is likely to be no more than 5 days and will probably be much less

Evidently i have not copied some files correctly,

Despite it being an exact copy down to the byte,

Templates are screwed so i'll update that as soon as i can

there shouldn't be any other bugs though if you encounter them post here, or create a topic somewhere

Will there be any more downtime this month? I will notify the members by sending a mass e-mail to notify them of Mxproject being up again, but I wouldn't want to if MXproject will be down again.

Expected downtime will be minimal usually only for server reboots and these last at most 30-60 seconds

Also server should be in general much faster.
I never really understood Thursdays.
