Private messaging has been disabled until i can figure out a way to reduce the spam

This shouldn't take more than a few days.

I'm curios to know what measures you can take seto. only thing I can think of is to put all new members in a non PM using group until they reach a certain # of posts.

Captcha, check content of message to see if it similar to other messages, restict how many pm's each user can send in a 24 hour period, whether certain bbcode can be used

they what i can think of off hand, i'll be making some additional changes to private message backend,

though to be fair blocking spammers from signing up in the first place would be the optimal method

those are some good anti spam measures.
