Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, died yesterday while filming an underwater documentary after he was stung by a stingray through the chest, putting a hole in his heart.

It's so sad that he died at 44 years of age and by a sting ray attack since sting rays aren't very violent animals.
Eventhough, I only watch a few of his shows on the discovery channel. I found him to be very entertaining guy. He was so full of life. He did so much for wild life conservation.
aww... not to sound mean or anything. but he death was kinda ironic. personally. if he were to die by an animal.. it shoulda been something like a crocodile (hence.. the crocodile hunter), but a stingray? T_T...
^It's still very tragic. I heard he died quickly in a minute after he bravely pulled the sting ray barb out of his chest, so he didn't die slowly and painfully, atleast.
