Code Geass - Lelouche of the Rebellion

Post by SleepyNguyen »

It's a pretty interesting anime so far. It's about a what-if a country called Britannia (Apparently it's a mix of Britain and America) took over Japan with something called Knightmare Frames, giant rollerblading robots. They renamed Japan to Area11, and call Japanese people 11's. There's a bunch of resistences a couple years later that don't amount to much, and the story centers around a Britannian teenager named Lelouche who's really the 17th heir to the Britannian throne, but due to circumstances he wants to overthrow Britannia.

So far it's a really interesting show, and I think some people might like it despite the mecha in it. I'm addicted so far and I haven't felt this addicted since Gundam SEED DESTINY started airing. Then again I knew GSD wasn't exactly a masterpiece, but I still enjoyed it.

On a side note, CLAMP designed the characters and animated/produced by Sunrise, a company that has done pretty much every Gundam Series to date.
