I notice that some anime have lots of episode, and some have as low or 12 or even 3. Why is that i go on this anime website to watch anime, cause new anime comes out by season, and almost every season the anime only has 12 episode, what up with that.

I think the creator decided that some animes are worth making more episodes for like Bleach, and the Dragonball series of anime, and other anime are best to keep short, or they don't want to drag the anime too far with too many filler episodes.

All animes are based on either manga or light novels. Unless they add filler, 12 episodes, 14, or 130 is all they can do based on that which they are using to make the anime.
