I been getting a lot of weird messages sent to my gmial is this happening to anyone else?

Yes but, I find it wind of weird that there are usually zero links and ads in these spam messages.

this could be via a contact system inplace somewhere out there, as my filters haven't caught anything from that e-mail or similar.

you could check the e-mail headers for more info on where the source is,

I got a feeling it is coming from the Contact me form on my website
