Do you notice forums are being spamed more by real people these days?

Yes, I think that there are more real people posting spam these days. I suspect their geting paid to post spam, or a promise of some reward for spaming.

I suspect there are more real people spaming these days because knowledgeable admins on forums put harder captcha codes, required registration questions and e-mail vertification vertification on the sites.

I had a phpbb3 forum that was recently attacked by spam bots and people, but only 2 members posted the same ads. They had similar SN to, and for some reason they post in the same section. I suspect they might be real people since they posted a topic and replied to the topic 4 times with the same ads in the same section. It was like they just copied and paste the ads multiple times.

But, for some reason, the rest of the bots were inactive.

I notice MXP. Occassionally have real people who spam on forums. They post similar messages, but on the third message they posts links on their sig, or topic.

yeah, my forum got hit by them. and I am taking every measure I can take to prevent them.
