I notice a lot of people say school is too expensive, and employers say we can't hire as many people, but need workers for our company.
It might be a good idea if the employers find volunteers and train them, and the volunteers get an education while working for a company for free.
For example, a computer store need more staff to fix people's computers, but can't afford it, and a young person wants to get into computers, but can't afford to go to school.
The computer store owner can just train volunteers how to fix computers. The volunteer learns about building computers while the boss gets a free staff member.
Do you think education should be more volunteer base instead of reading books and paying a school to teach?

Yes this would work, if corporations were not as greedy as they are.
Small companie's it's easy to do but big companies damn, it's like you've said ... actually i won't go there but it's not pleasent.
A scheme that works well in my opnion is for the employer to use an entry level salary eg 25% less than they would get elsewhere and use that 25% to train the person with them stuck with the company for say 2-4 years.
Some large companies here use a similar scheme but well it's not widespread enough.

It is a better idea, but if companies did that then there would be much fewer owing billions to the banks so they wouldn't be needed for gigantic loans,
And they wouldn't be able to commit fraud (Getting money for nothing is fraud legal fraud like interest rates is perfectly fine apparently)
