Your views on people who try to make you feel guilty, so you donate money or volunteer?

I think that if someone provides a godd service like feeding the hungry and educating the hungry then more people will donate cash or volunteer compared to if you just say people are dieing of hunger in the world since some people will tune out. People like listening to good news it is the sad truth.

The same goes for websites that ask for money since I visited some websites that had little content, but a Donation link all over their site.

I'm assumming people will only donate their money to good causes like Spybot, Spywareblaster, and a few other hard working non-profits.

I rarely donate. if I donate a lot I might end up like the people I am donating for.
