Do you think Solid State hard drive be popular for consumers PC in the near future?

Not until they are cheaper, and more reliable since flash memory has a limited amount of write cycles, and Windows love to use the swap/page file a lot when it is running low on ram. Solid State Drive are good for laptops since they can survive a crash to the floor. But, I think worrying about hard drive crashes is not as important since you can always just backup your files to another drive, online storage, Blu-ray or dvd-r automatically with backup software.
