I find the internet somewhat useful for fixing tech, but a lot of times when I read people's reply, articles, and videos. They give a lot of basic answers like "do a clean install of windows, system restore, reimage, check your ram, replace your power supply, do a ping, install the latest drivers, uninstall the latest drivers, check your cables, and other fixs I already tried or thought of trying.
No one really teches others on how to replace a blown capacitor or resister.
How useful do you find the internet for fixing technological problems?

a lot times people lose manuals or the manuals aren't clear enough.froggyboy604 wrote:I agree, that the internet is very helpful, but it is somewhat sad that most of the threads on tech help forums are overly easy to fix like "how do you reset your wireless mouse" which people can learn on their own, or by just reading the manual which came with their devices.

I notice these days that a lot of manuals come with the software for the device or software, or you can download it very easily. I agree manuals are not very clear, and the font size is very tiny on mostly cheaper devices.Skeithex wrote:a lot times people lose manuals or the manuals aren't clear enough.froggyboy604 wrote:I agree, that the internet is very helpful, but it is somewhat sad that most of the threads on tech help forums are overly easy to fix like "how do you reset your wireless mouse" which people can learn on their own, or by just reading the manual which came with their devices.
