Do you think maintaining a computer is pretty automated these days?

Post by froggyboy604 »

Yes, for the most part. If I really want to, I can set my computer to automatically backup, image all my stuff, defrag my drive, and scan my computer for viruses and malware on a weekly or daily basis. Windows and most security software is set to automatically update.

The only thing that is hard to automate is cleaning the inside of the PC ,or testing the PC hard ware for reliability, and replacing parts.

I use to have everything auto do on my computer (anti virus, back up, ect.) but had to stop since it slowed down my computer or interrupt me watching a video.

I defrag, scan, and fix my computer myself as well since I got nothing better to do most of the time, and It won't effect my computing experience.

I hate how MS made disk defrag so automated in vista and 7 by setting defrags to every wednesday.
