The Best Paid antivirus is Bitdefender, and the best free antivirus is Avast.

Bitdefender won the AV-COMPARATIVES 2015 Antivirus product of the Year according to http://www.bitdefender.com/media/html/s ... INGMIX2015 because it stopped a lot of viruses from infecting Windows.

too bad it costs so much and is a yearly thing or I might think about it. kaspersky though looks like a better alternative according to the chart on their site .
