Too much information?
Do you think some products and software require too much personal information these days?

Re: Too much information?
Yes, I feel products and software require too much information. I heard a lot of mobile apps and websites can listen to your mic.

They can listen to your mic, which is sad. I also hate how much info Office wants from a person to set up an account.

Re: Too much information?
better question is what they don't ask, which is pretty much your social security number. Otherwise you have to fork over email, a phone number, name and I think your address.froggyboy604 wrote:What type of personal information is needed for Office?

This is a lot of information which users are giving away to Microsoft which they don't have a personal relationship with.

some people don't have or want email address which makes it even harder to setup.
