Re: Purchasing parts
Most retail stores push additional tech services, as that is a good way to make extra money, no matter how bad the support is.

Re: Purchasing parts
I feel bad tech support could cause stores to lose customers because people can go to another store, write a complaint on a forum about poor service, or read a beginners computer repair book o0r website to fix their own computer problems.

Re: Purchasing parts
It's kind of sad, since these days anything can be googled or youtube, so long as its not an extensive issue.

Re: Purchasing parts
Sadly, more issues can't be fix because they can be related to a software not working because the software requires the internet to work to prevent piracy.

Re: Purchasing parts
Really makes it an issue if there is no internet or the pc parts didn't come with the network driver which some servers don't.

Re: Purchasing parts
I think there are also some internet connected devices which require an online subscription to work, and the device may not work if the device's website is offline or broken, or the devices internet is broken.
