Re: Purchasing parts
They would most likely sell it, to break even on costs. I've read of people buying bricked Nintendo switches from pawn shops.

Re: Purchasing parts
I imagine parts like the LCD screen, battery, RAM, and CPU worth enough money where people will buy bricked Switch consoles for the electronic parts which they can resell.

Re: Purchasing parts
Yeah that's the thing though, people don't realize they are buying bricked systems till they get home and try to use them.

Re: Purchasing parts
I imagne some pawn shop custumers may accidentally buy refurbished Nintendo Switches where the prevous owner used low quality electronic parts like batteries, speakers,j and LCD screens to fix their broken Switch.

Re: Purchasing parts
Possible, though it is pretty hard to repair Switch consoles.

Re: Purchasing parts
I think most tablets and handhelds like the Switch are hard to repair because of the small size, and hard to find parts.

Re: Purchasing parts
They also use a bit of glue that really never comes apart.
