I think watching videos, reading books and taking certification cert courses on the CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, and Security+ cert exams is the best way for most people to learn IT because a lot of people trust CompTIA, and book authors who write about CompTIA cert exams which cover a lot of information which is useful for IT workers and hobbyists.

Only thing that sucks about those certs is that they do expire after awhile, which is a shame.

That is true, certs expire after awhile. Retaking certs can be costly and time consuming to retake, but companies like Microsoft are always adding, and removing features to their software and operating systems, so some employers may want to know if their workers can pass a cert exam for the latest version of workplace software and operating systems.

True, but sometimes it is just easier to learn stuff from news articles and people doing it the new tech on YouTube videos.

That is true, it is easier to learn about tech from YouTube videos and news articles. But, sometimes the content creators or writer decided to not post anymore, and you need to find another good content creator or writer which covers the same topic.

Usually you can go to places like udemey to learn more at cheaper cost than going to school to fully learn something.
