They are actually advanced, if you don't download a desktop GUI for it. Otherwise, its all command line.

I imagine a lot of people are now using a Desktop GUI to control Linux, or using an mobile App or wen browser app to control their Linux PC.

If they know about it, for linux you can't simply just use it.

There are some smaller computer builders which sell computers with Linux and Linux GUI pre-installed on it.

There are, but some older people still may not be able to use it.

I imagine the small text size on some Linux GUI can make it difficult to use for older people.

I think linux does come with font options, but may not be easy to use as on Windows.
