Not even sure if old Office programs can run on windows 11, they might throw errors or be blocked.

I think there maybe virtual machine software for using older versions of Office on newer versions of Windows.

Even if it runs, it may not run well and MS might have something in place to make people upgrade.

I heard MS is having Windows notifications ads to convince people to update, and newer versions of Office document files are sometimes not compatible with older Office software, so people are forced to update.

They do it in tricky ways as well, if you really don't pay attention, you do end up upgrading by mistake. Very annoying experience.

I imagine some people may of mistakenly updated Windows, and they can't use their computer until the update is finish. This can be a problem if your homework is almost due, or they need to use their PC for showing a presentation at work in an hour or less.

I've walked away from my pc for awhile and when I came back, it was in the middle of an update, very annoying.
