For me, fans usually made my hands cold and made me feel sick more often.

This is true fans can make me feel cold as well.

Usually when I get a chill, even from a fan, I tend to start not feeling well.

I think fans can sometimes produce weird sounds which may make some people feel scared,

It can, but also funny to what it can do to your voice, or burn your hand if it doesn't well run on a PC.

I think some of the older fans may run hot which can be dangerous if the fan starts a fire.

True, risk of fire is possible, I also wonder if old fans can cause battery to be damaged from heat.
