I think a clear cover over a keyboard may help with proper posture and hand position when typing, and could force some people to learn how to type properly, and memorize most of the letter and number keys.

Not sure about that, but you can't be messy with it since its harder to press on the keys.

I imagine having a keyboard cover over the keyboard may also make some people not eat and drink near their computer because it is somewhat of a hassle to type and eat at the same time.

I doubt it stop them, I've seen a lot of people be careless, even opened up laptops with coffee spilled on it, not fun.

Maybe a computer webcam program which warn people not to drink coffee near a computer may help with people to not drink around a computer.

That is true, it can cause privacy issues unless the computer is a desktop computer at work and school where people have less privacy because there is usually someone sitting beside, or you agree to have less privacy at work.

A cup with a automatic close-able lid could stop most liquid spills to keyboard.
