It is annoying how much RAM and CPU percentage basic programs use these days.

I know, I only have firefox open right now with six tabs and right now using 5 of my 8 gb of memory for it. Be a good focus point for the next windows to optimize everything.

It may take too long for Windows to optimize everything, or Windows running faster on slower computers may never happen. Most PC users maybe using super fast computers by the time Windows 11 is released, so MS may not feel the need to make Windows work faster on slow computers

would be nice by the time of windows 11 release that the only thing pcs run on is SSDs.

I think there is Intel Optane small size SSD which can improve the speed of computers with hard drives. Hopefully, 16GB of RAM becomes more affordable when Windows 11 is released.

I don't think there is any optane ssd? Optane is a type of ram that is used to speed up HDDs, if I understand its concept right.

I think Optane is made with SSD storage chip, but acts as RAM.
