A lot of software and hardware firmware are made in other countries which can be risky if buyers are not sure how skilled the software makers are in other countries, or if the software makers are secretly putting virus and spyware programs into the software.

I think companies and countries which have better working and living conditions, and fair wages may have more workers who are more likely to make better hardware drivers and firmware software.

that helps, but supply lines need to be reestablish, missing workers due to the sickness may need to be replaced and trained. Covid unraveled a lot of things that need to be pieced back together.

I read online that there is a micro-chip and electronics parts shortage which means a lot of electronic products can't be made as fast until the shortage ends.

I know AMD is really hurting, leading to a lack of PS5 systems.

I heard Apple is now making their own CPUs for some of their laptops which isn't a bad idea now that there are CPU shortage.
