I do love how light weight linux is, wish everything windows could run on it, without the viruses.

I think Linux users don't need to be as concern with spyware where someone can turn on your Mic or webcam without you noticing. I think there are fewer spyware made for Linux.

Not sure if there is any spyware, hard to run it with command line.

There maybe some software with user tracking features for Linux. I heard there are worker and student exam tracking software for PC to make sure workers are working on a PC instead of doing non-work tasks like playing games.

Not sure if there is anything like that for linux, no reason for people to make tracking software for linxu OS.

I imagine customize versions of Linux which are made by some governments and criminals may contain spyware, so they can steal people's information.

Maybe smaller governments use linux but I think the USA only uses windows.
