Guess chromebook can be good, most people for viruses only need something decent that can run notepad++ on it.

I think a lot of Chromebooks are fast enough to run full Linux operating systems which could be good enough to make viruses.

I heard chromebooks can be hard to reimage correctly, not most people can do that.

I heard you need to use a command line program to install Linux onto, and open the Chromebook case to unlock the SSD by changing a switch.

I think most newer Chromebooks let you run Linux and Android apps, but Linux apps run slower because Linux apps are run in a virtual machine app in Chrome OS.

yeah most non-tech people wouldn't know how to do that, but virus makers could pull it off. But you also have to hope nothing is messed up during the install.

I think there maybe computer stores and companies which can help people people install a Linux OS on a Chromebook, but it maybe expensive depending on how much computer repairs cost.

There are places that do that, for a large fee that most may not want to pay.
