I feel removing the computer's power cord can prevent people from turning on a computer since most people don't carry around computer power supply cords in their bag or pocket.

It was easy during the tower days, monitors and pcs used the same cord. Now, laptops each have their own making it a pain.

I think some laptops now use USB-C power bricks for power, but now using a poor quality USB-C can break a laptop or smartphone.

those can be annoying, since they are still few and not easy to get replacements.

I heard there are fake USB-C chargers which can damage your laptop and phone.

knock offs can be dangerous to get, they can damage your stuff which saving money can lead to spending more.

I heard of some USB ports spreading viruses when people charge their devices at public USB chargers.
