I think a lot of older motherboards and CPUs no longer support Windows 11.

That was the whole point of W11, which is rather annoying. Now W10 will end in another year, giving more freedom to viruses.

I think there is a way to make Windows 11 work on slightly older hardware with older TPM 1.2 and UEFI boot on the CPU and motherboard.

If you know what to edit, it can work, but might risk bricking the device.

I imagine that Windows 11 may not install on devices where you edit a registry and other setting wrong, and you just end up wasting your time, and Microsoft will recommend you keep Windows 10.

It's sure to brick if you install on a modified W10. Then there is windows 12 to worry about.

I read on a blog that Windows is planning to make Windows 12 an online-only operating system similar to game streaming services where everyhing is hosted online, or subscribing to web hosting where your website's OS, files, and content management software like Joomla or Wordpress is installed on a server on your web host's location.
