				Honestly PC makers just need to make their stuff better, that we warranties wouldn't be needed. I'm seeing custom PC makers ship their stuff out with a 4 year guarantee.

				I feel companies may also need to hire new workers who care more about making more durable laptops instead of saving a little money by using less reliable parts.

				I think Asus is the only one out there, they still do build hefty laptops from what I can see.

				Asus does make some very durable looking laptops.
I think Panasonic makes durable laptops for police officers to use in their car and outdoors.

				I think Panasonic mostly sell their durable laptops to police department and the army.
I think Panasonic now is mostly known for making AA batteries, and Plasma TVs in North America.

				Shame they don't make market grade ones then, I know a lot of people who want to buy a laptop that can take a beating and not deal with warranties.
