Got to be carful with that as most companies don't want to be employee owned.

That is true, many bosses and stockholders may not want the union having a lot of stocks for ther company which mean the union have more control over the company.

It's a steady line but with more troubles in the world more places might try to keep employees from owning anything.

I heard more people are starting their own companies which may want employees to own stocls in the company.

Small time companies are fine for that, but once they get big and bought out, that kind of thing is put to an end.

Sadly, there seems to be less worker employment protection in new and emerging careers like video game workers and online stores which layoff a lot of workers these past few years.

Yep, everyone can be replaced or viewed as numbers. Hate to see it.
