I think it depends more on the game data amount and specially if you use wifi which would has a set amount of speed.froggyboy604 wrote:Possibly, but I think you need to login. I still wonder how fast and reliable this is since if your internet is slow or unreliable using Sony cloud can be slow or frustrating.

The latest and more expensive Wifi N at 300 Mbps is a lot faster then G at 54Mbps. Both G and N speeds are usually faster then most High speed internet connection speed which cost 40 dollars a month for 8 Mbps speeds.
I think if you subscribe to 10-20 dollar a month internet which speed is about 1 Mbps then using cloud online storage is not going to be fast since your internet service provider will be limiting your speed.
I'm not sure PS3 Cloud will be very popular in Canada since a lot of Canadians are on metered internet . Many Canadians can only download and upload 25GB a month before they will be charged an extra 1-2 dollars per Gigabyte for going over 25 GBs.

Indeed, all internet TV and services like NetFlix, and Cloud will be dead.Skeithex wrote:I hear canada is getting their internet limited, which would make the cloud pretty dead up there.
I wouldn't be surprised if America's internet is also limited since Internet Service Providers in the US can earn more cash when they limit your internet usage, and charge you 1-2 dollars per GB for going over the limit.
In Gulf Coast town of Beaumont, Texas , US has limited internet for 30 dollars a month for 5GB downloads.
They'll be charged an extra $1 per extra gigabyte if they go over the limit.

Indeed, I heard that Canada is rethinking the limited internet situation after a lot of complaints by many Canadians.Skeithex wrote:I doubt it will be done in America, not only will we fall further behind everyone else internet wise but people would get pissed.
But, I got a feeling the ISP will just say limited internet is great by twisting "you are just paying for internet bandwidth you are using instead of paying for more then you need."
The only people I see being very mad are anime downloaders, adult video downloaders, Bittorrent downloaders, Steam costumers, and people who subscribe to Netflix and other streaming services.
