The Google Android consoles like Ouya which are being made now are being made because Mobile game makers know there are gamers who will always prefer to game on a TV, and controller instead of smaller screens on a phone or tablet.

I know it goes against what the 'experts' say that console gaming is dying. It lives pretty strong these days, even if divided among too many consoles.

I read the Console is now an all-in-one device for watching video, listening to music, using Apps, and browsing the web. But, the traditional game console like the Super Nintendo which only play games, and does not have internet is not popular.

Indeed, the Xbox One is pretty much an all in one device.
A blog post said the Xbox One would be great for work, and school because you can video chat on Skype, go online to type up documents with Microsoft's online Word program, e-mail people, and use Windows 8 Apps.

Yeah, no. There are much cheaper methods to do stuff like that without the need to shove out $500. Like a kindle fire or google's pad.

Indeed, the Kindle Fire would be a cheaper way to do non-gaming tasks. I think Netbooks are pretty cheap as well.
