I can see only top companies like google, facebook, IBM and MS to be able afford i9s.

Users can lease or rent computers for a few month from computer makers and rental companies. I can't imagine even renting is very cheap for a high end pc, not to mention the costs should it endure any damage.

Renting high end computers and electronics are not cheap, but you don't need to pay full price if you rent them for a short amount of time like a few weeks. problem with renting though is you're getting used goods and who knows what the last person did with it.
