Same for me unless I suddenly won or earn a lot of money where i can afford an i9, or I work or go to school at a place which has i9 computers,

Users can lease or rent computers for a few month from computer makers and rental companies. If you just need a very powerful computer for a month to a year, renting or leasing a powerful computer can be good since you don't need to pay full price for a computer.

I can't imagine even renting is very cheap for a high end pc, not to mention the costs should it endure any damage.

Renting high end computers and electronics are not cheap, but you don't need to pay full price if you rent them for a short amount of time like a few weeks. I think there maybe insurance available for people who rent a PC, but the insurance may cost a lot of money.

problem with renting though is you're getting used goods and who knows what the last person did with it.
