Same for me. But, Apple probably does not want as many users repairing their own iMac, so they use glue. Glue probably is cheaper as well when you buy a huge tub of glue to glue many iMac AIO at a large iMac Factory.

One of the good things about glue is that there are no screws to lose when working on them, but you need to re-glue the parts together after you cleaned up the old glue on the parts.
Well glue aside, I did hear you need a special screw driver just to undo any screws in a apple PC.

Those special screw drivers must be are hard to find at an offline store, but should be easy to find for eBay. I bet, some people may just use the special screw drivers a few times to fix up their Apple PC before selling both the Apple PC, and special screw drivers on eBay, and use the money earned from their Apple auction to buy a PC which is easier and cheaper to fix.

Best buy would be a person's only bet offline, specially with radio shack going bankrupt, not many places have a full blown electronic parts store.

Fry's Electronics which has a few stores in the US may have special screw drivers.

But, using the internet seems more convenient for buying hard to find computer tools.
