I think CPU fans don't cost a lot of money, so they can bundle a better fan, and it may only cost a few extra 30 dollars.

Depends on the model, though the cheaper you get the more likely they are to break and cause more issues.

I agree cheap fans are more likely to break. But, I notice PC fans tend to last a long time.

And that's what drives me nuts these days, I don't care for fan noise on a PC.

I feel fans maybe quieter if PC fan makers use higher quality oil/lubricants to lubricate the fan, and adding a few extra drops of oil to the fan. Using a bigger slower spinning fan can also make a PC less loud.

Be nice if all pcs didn't need extra cooling like laptops that may need a cooling lapfan. I notice a lot of penitums need more cooling.

The extra cooling fans maybe used to make a slow computer look faster sort of like Gaming computers with a lot of fans with colorful lights on the fans.
