I think some people are bad with saving money, so they have little money left for purchases which cost $50 to $200 like a surge protector and UPS power supply because they may of bought a home, car, computer, smartphone, and TV which they need to borrow money from a bank or someone else to buy.

True, if you buy other stuff, it don't leave much for a good pc, nice as it would be to afford it all.

That is true, a lot of people want to buy it all, and they may no longer be able to afford a good PC and computer parts without borrowing money if someone or a company is willing to borrow them money.

There may also be a chance that someone replaces the real part with a knockoff part, or a lower quality compatible part during shipping or pakaging the computer part.

I have seen pc parts replaced in mid transit, it's crazy what can happen.

I remember reading that sometimes you may not even get computer parts because the criminal replace the part with something which weigh the same during shipping or at the factory.

I think these bad news stories may make people less likely to buy more expensive PC parts because it can be a hassle to get your money back.
