This Seagate hard drive should be good enough for a game console.
indeed, but I think it only has like 8GB of SSD in it, doesn't make it much worthwhile.

I agree 8GB SSD would probably not speed up your game loading time, and game performance because the file size of games are many GBs in size.

it would somewhat, but first it would have to cache them to be of any effect.

Could the cache become corrupt/broken where it slow down the game, or make the game not load or play properly?

The Xbox 360 suffered from Cache slowdown problems in games like The Elderscroll's Skyrim where the Xbox's Cache broke which cause the game to slowdown and freeze.

Web browsers, and other programs sometimes slow down, and don't display websites correctly if you don't clear the cache often.

hard to say, but I was doing some extensive research into a hybrid (meaning it has both SSD and HDD) and it seems like the SSD is just completely pointless unless you plan to run the same thing often.

I think Hybrid hard drives just mainly make your computer or game console startup faster, and may not speed up loading big programs, games, and media files like 4K video because the files and folders are sometimes bigger than the small size SSD drive found on these Hybrid drive.

Hard to say, I just couldn't see a reason to buy them outside of some deep fan love for them.
