Most do say how much they can handle, not realizing a PC usually puts out more, specially when running hard.

I think more PC uses less power these days, so it is less likely for a power supply to be overloaded like the past.

Lower end ones would, but gaming PCs still take on a high charge.

That is true, a lot of Gaming PCs with powerful parts would require a more powerful power supply because most powerful CPUs and videocards uses a lot of power.

I think the price of GPUs are also expensive because there are only AMD, and Nvidia who make powerful GPUs which are compatible with most games, so they don't need to compete as hard for buyers compared to other computer parts like PC power supplies which have many brands.

More GPU makers would be nice, but I think parts are pretty low supply at the moment.
