I agree it is a very dirty thing to do, and cause people to switch to other anti-malware which are not yearly plans.

Though I do understand wanting to get rid of lifetime, it doesn't bring in much money.

I heard money is losing its value, so things are getting more expensive. The money Malwarebytes earned in the past is not worth as much today. I think many antivirus and antimalware companies may switch to yearly plans, so they have enough money to hire enough workers.

I haven't seen any loss in value, hopefully not, I rather not spend more for protection.

I feel antimalware companies may make more money if they sell their software for a lower price because more people will buy it, and recommend it to other people.

It would be nice if more antimalware companies made more affordable antimalware programs which cost $10 or less, and don't contain features like secure web browsers, VPN apps, and other features which many people never use, and the features may slow down their PC and use more storage space.
