I heard Microsoft now requires people to use their Microsoft's outlook account to login to Windows 11 Pro. I think making users use an Outlook.com account could be a bad idea if they also use the Outlook e-mail address for important e-mails, and for Xbox Live.

No you can still get around that, using an offline account keeps your email from any possible virus infection after all.

It is good that Microsoft still allow offline accounts. Hopefully, Windows does not require people use an e-mail account to use Windows in the future.

Hopefully not, but you never know, it's a good security measure to not have an email tied to it.

I wonder if CD/Disc based Operating Systems like Ubuntu or Puppy Linux which can run off a CD disc will be more popular since disc are read-only, so viruses and malware can't infect the OS and software files on the disc, and users use a guest account to use programs like web browsers, office suites, and media players.

That sounds like a better option though annoying one to run stuff on.
