Re: Discontinue pentium?
even a chromebook or Pentium will be fine, as I've talked to a few business IT people and people will be remoteing into their work pc and still making use of the office equipment via internet connection.

Hopefully, the internet is reliable during the Coronavirus shutdown, and there are no bad operating system updates which break people's OS from logging into their PC.

I'm sure the MS employees are gone from working, so they can't release a bad update, hopefully the internet doesn't go down for anyone.

I feel local ISP are also less likely to change settings and update firmware/software to their network servers, routers, and modems which sometimes break people's internet connection.
Many workers maybe on vacation now since some companies may not have as many customers right now because many people are going to retail stores to buy food, hand sanitizer, and medicine before most things are sold out, or possible road and airport closures. Some buyers may also spent a lot of of their money on canned food, hand sanitizer, medicine, and face masks, so they don't have money for other things.

All I can say is it is really good time to have a great internet provider, specially if your machine is running low end hardware.

Having a lot of DVD/Blu-Ray disc movies, physical video games, books, and offline files can be useful since a hacker, malware, earthquake, tornado, flood, riot, strong winds, and lightning storms can cause very long nternet disconnection problems even if your ISP is good.

It almost seems like you need an i3 anymore to play movies on a PC, otherwise with a little time they start to hang up.
