It be better to funnel the money into the industry itself to make things cheaper to buy for everyone.

I think companies and the government investing more money in making affordable computer security hardware and software could cause computer security software and hardware to be cheaper instead of paying $60 a year for an antivirus subscription which can be unaffordable for poorer people.

AV will always be over priced due to greed, but it seems like they still put it on sale.

I'm surprise no one invented an affordable paid antivirus which has all the good features found in most expensive AVs.

Actually, malwarebytes does offer that, but most don't see malware as an issue.

I think Malwarebytes is now a yearly subscription, so it can be less affordable for people.

They still offer a free version, you just have to do everything manually.
