I think many antivirus programs also offer a free version, but it is missing more advance features.

Nice thing about malwarebytes is that they don't lock anything behind a paywall, but automated stuff.

It is nice that Malwarebytes still offer a free 30-day trial for people to try out before they choose to buy.

Usually those trials trick you into buying it before they do anything.

I think making monthly subscription may make some people more likely to buy since a lot of people are not sure if they want to buy a 1 year subscription for AV, or they plan to sell their computer in a for months.
