Re: Recommended AV?
Sometimes it looks cheaper for the one year vs the monthly as not many people like seeing more on their monthly bill.

Re: Recommended AV?
I feel more people with money problems maybe able to afford a monthly antivirus subscription since they can do simple tasks like exchanging empty soda bottles and scrap metal for cash to pay for a monthly subscription.
There is also a risk of wasting a years subscription if the AV suddenly become unreliable after a bad AV software update, or Windows releases a new Windows Update which break the AV, and both Windows and the AV company can't repair the AV errors the Windows Update is causing.

I can agree to that, I've seen AV brick a PC before leading to a lot of issues.

Re: Recommended AV?
It is unfortunate that AV still brick computers so often. I think more people may prefer to pay monthly or weekly for a computer because they don't want to be stuck with a 1 year subscription which they can't safely use because the AV is bricking their PC.

I think some people also complained about Norton as well.

I've found norton to be slow, though haven't used it since they went the life 360 features route.
