I heard Bitcoin declining value caused GPUs to become less popular.
I feel more people these days are more into playing less graphics intensive games like Minecraft and Roblox which don't usually need a dedicated GPU, so fewer people are buying GPUs to play games.

Thankfully no one can mine more bitcoin, so it has helped and allowed people who need PCs to get them and keep learning IT.

I imagine, a lot of people can now buy a new GPU for an older PC because fewer people are buying all the GPU to mine Bitcoin, so users can keep playing games for a few more years after installing a better GPU.

People are happy to be able to buy them and learning how to properly assumable their own PCs to use it in.

I think people are happy they can finally buy GPU from a better brand instead of unknown brands which maybe bad.

True, 3rd party purchases are always a risk instead of getting it a first party.

I think some cheaper brands may use used parts which may not work as well.
