With so many Ransomware attacks, and poor reliability problems of computer parts like hard drives and SSDs which can break randomly, computer users should be more careful at keeping their important files backed up.

there are cheaper insurance plans you can buy out there which can recover your data should there be a issue beyond your control.

I feel using external hard drives, backup servers, Blu-ray-R or DVD-R disc, online offsite backup, and storing data on other computers should be good enough for most average PC users' backup needs.

most are too lazy to hook one up, though I tend to not always keep my hooked up so no viruses can get on.
