Yeah. Mine sounds like some ancient clunky typewriter. I didn't buy it, though. It was my aunt's decision. Her taste in computer stuff is awful.

I know what you mean. My keyboard sounds like a bit like a type writer too when I type really fast.

The school keyboards are even worse. If you type too fast one of the keys comes off, or the keyboard flips over and hits you. Sometimes crumbs fly out from between the keys and get in your eye. That's if you can even get the computer on.

Gross. I don`t really like using public computers. The keys are greasy. Plus, if you flip over the mouse and look at the bottum there is some weird fur sticking to the bottum of it which makes the mouse harder to move.

Yeah. BTW the head at my school just said they'd never put internet on the computer I use 'cause they can't trust me. Am I reeally that bad?

The internet at schools here can be kind of restricted. all the fun sites are blocked.

Yeah, but some, if not most of the other kids get internet, however restricted. At my school, we're all assigned a computer that we HAVE to use for work, but we can use whatever one at break, although if some athletic kid jumps over the chairs and gets to the XP, we all have to file out and grab hold of whatever pathetic 3.11 we can. We're hardly ever allowed on the computers at break. We usually mix up whose the computers are, so I once ended up using the computer assigned to the kid who sucks her thumb. =/ Not that only we've ever used the computers, of course. Until recently, who got to use what computer was decided on who could throw themselves over two rows of desks and dart along the row to the best one. Me = fail at athletics. Still, this new system has got to be worse, much worse. =/
